Soulful House & Deep House Labels Accepting Demos (2026)

As of 2026, the soulful, deep, disco house and UK garage labels with a real, working demo route include SLEEPER (upload portal, replies within 14 days), the Defected family via LabelRadar (DFTD, Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Soulfuric, Nu Groove, D4 Dance, Big Love, 4 To The Floor, The Remedy Project), Quantize Recordings (demos@quantizerecordings.com), MoBlack (demo@moblack.com), Soul Clap Records (records@soulclap.us), Toy Tonics (info@toytonics.de), Shall Not Fade and Razor-N-Tape (form/contact links). Every entry below has a submission method we could actually verify. Always re-check the label's own page before sending, because policies change.

Why this list exists

Most "labels accepting demos" articles name zero real labels or paste dead links. This one lists only labels where we could find a live submission method (an email, a portal, or a form) and tells you exactly where it came from. If a label has gone quiet or pulled its inbox, we say so. House music moves fast, so treat the "verify" column as a hard instruction, not a suggestion.

A note on the Defected route

In its LabelRadar partnership, Defected opened submissions across its sub-labels: D4 Dance, DFTD, Glitterbox, Big Love, Soulfuric, Nu Groove, Classic Music Company, 4 To The Floor and The Remedy Project, per Beatportal and Music Week. LabelRadar lets you upload a track, clip a 20-second section, and send it either to a public pool or privately to one label. It is a real route, but it is also the most crowded inbox in house music. Expect long odds and little to no personal feedback.

The honest part: most of these will never reply

That is not cynicism, it is volume. Toy Tonics openly gets more demos than it can hear. The big Defected pools sort thousands of clips. Emailing demos@ at a flagship soulful label usually means your link sits unopened. None of these labels owe you a reply, and most do not give one. If your only goal is "get heard by a human who works in your exact lane," a packed public pool is the slowest path to that.

That gap is the reason SLEEPER exists. We work the same soulful house and UK garage lane, we read every submission, and we reply within 14 days, every time. You upload your best one or two tracks, your music stays yours until a deal is signed, and if we move forward it is a fair co-producer split rather than a buyout. It is not a magic shortcut, it is just a label that actually answers.

Frequently asked questions

Which soulful and deep house labels are actually accepting demos in 2026?

Verified routes as of 2026 include SLEEPER (upload portal, 14-day human reply), the Defected family via LabelRadar (DFTD, Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Soulfuric, Nu Groove and more), Quantize Recordings (demos@quantizerecordings.com), MoBlack (demo@moblack.com), Soul Clap Records (records@soulclap.us), Toy Tonics (info@toytonics.de), Shall Not Fade, Razor-N-Tape and Roush. Always re-check each label's own page first, since policies change without notice.

How do I submit a demo to Defected Records and its sub-labels?

Defected partnered with Beatport-owned LabelRadar to take submissions across its sub-labels, including DFTD, Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Soulfuric, Nu Groove, D4 Dance, Big Love, 4 To The Floor and The Remedy Project. You upload a track, clip a 20-second section, and send it to a public pool or privately to one label. Defected also lists a streamable-link email route on its demos page. Confirm the current method at defected.com/demos.

Why do most labels never reply to demos?

It is volume, not personal rejection. Flagship soulful and deep house labels and the big LabelRadar pools receive thousands of demos. Toy Tonics openly says it gets more than it can hear. Most labels simply do not have the staff to respond, so silence is the default. To actually get a human answer in the soulful or UK garage lane, SLEEPER replies to every submission within 14 days.

What makes a demo more likely to get heard?

Send only your two strongest tracks, not a folder of ten. Match the label's lane and reference a recent release you fit beside. Use a clean private streamable link (SoundCloud, WeTransfer or Dropbox), in WAV where asked, with no attachments. Keep the message to three lines: who you are, why it fits, the link. Avoid obvious mass-BCC blasts, which get deleted on sight.

Does SLEEPER take my rights when I submit?

No. With SLEEPER your music stays yours until a deal is actually signed. Submitting a demo grants nothing. If SLEEPER does move forward, the offer is a fair co-producer split rather than a rights buyout, and you get a real reply within 14 days either way. You can read the full terms on the SLEEPER submit page before sending anything.
