Got releases or placements out there (even uncredited)? Drop links - a real track record is the strongest signal you can give us. New or unreleased? The two tracks above still count.
No wrong answer - we just need to know where you sit. Fully ghost = a one-time fee, you assign the master + publishing, sign an NDA, and stay uncredited (it pays the most). A "credit" means your name in the official track credits as a producer - never as the main or featured artist, which always stays with the releasing artist. We're always open to working out a credit that makes sense, and the exact terms are agreed in writing before you sign.
If we move forward we usually need the session or stems to mix and place the track - and being able to hand them over is a sign you really made it.
We read every word - this is a real deciding factor. Skip the bio: tell us what you're genuinely elite at, anyone you've delivered finished tracks for if you have (artists, labels, placements, even uncredited - and none yet is totally fine), how you handle a brief, and how reliably you hit deadlines. We want a killer we can hand real artists and up-and-coming talent.

Submission Terms - the fine print

  1. You confirm this work is yours - created by you, and either owned by you outright or with every contributor, sample, loop, preset and interpolation fully cleared - so you have full rights to submit it and it infringes no one else's rights. Any sample-pack or "royalty-free" loops (Splice, Loopmasters, etc.) must be cleared both to use AND to assign onward for commercial release. If anything in your track isn't fully cleared, tell us before you're selected.
  2. You grant us only a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to listen to, store and internally evaluate your submission - and, solely to judge fit, to privately share it with the specific artist(s) we're considering pairing you with. That's it: this grants no other rights and is for evaluation only.
  3. Submitting does not assign, sell or transfer any copyright, master or publishing rights to us. You keep everything you came in with.
  4. Your track will not be released, distributed, monetized or commercially used unless you are selected and sign a separate written agreement first.
  5. Submitting doesn't obligate us to accept, sign, release, use or pay for your music, or you to proceed. We aim to reply within 14 days, but that's a goal, not a guarantee, and creates no liability if we're late. We may decline without explanation, and you may withdraw at any time.
  6. Submitting creates a producer portal account tied to your email (with the password you set) so you can track your submission live. You can ask us to delete your account, submission and files at any time - just email support@wearesleeper.com.
  7. We use your details only to review your submission and contact you. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for how it's handled.
  8. You'll defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sleeper, its operators and agents, and any artists we work with from any third-party claim, loss, damages and reasonable legal fees arising from a breach of these confirmations, or from your submission or anything in it - including any claim that it infringes a copyright or uses an uncleared sample, loop or interpolation, or leaves out a co-writer or contributor.
  9. The site and submission process are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
  10. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sleeper and its operators and agents won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or the claimed commercial value of any submission. Our total liability for any and all claims won't exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
  11. These Terms are governed by California law (ignoring its conflict-of-laws rules), and any dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, which you agree to. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply.
  12. This site is for people 18 or older; by submitting you confirm you're 18+, and if we learn a submission came from a minor we may reject and delete it.
  13. These Submission Terms and our Privacy Policy are the complete and only agreement governing your submission and replace anything said elsewhere on this site - statements about timing, pay or credit are informational, not binding promises. There is no separate or longer-form submission agreement; this governs in full. It's plain English but legally binding, and if any part is held invalid the rest still applies. We log your consent - with a timestamp and this Terms version - when you submit.
